As an international student, I view Kokomo High School as a friendly and dynamic environment for international students. The teachers here are very helpful. The school offers a variety of AP courses. The school has 4 programs for students IB, DP, CP, and Traditional, each has its own strength. Because there's a career center, it has wide-ranged career courses such as Health Science, Art, Architecture, Public Safety, Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Transportation, Hospitality, Business & Marketing and so on. The school has more than 20 co-curricular and extracurricular groups. Since this is a public school, it has many sports. Kokomo High School is a diverse school with more than 1500 students. The campus is pretty big but safe. The school in 2018-2019 have more than 60 international students from many countries in Europe, Asia, Middle and South America. The international students neither stay with the host family or at a dorm in downtown Kokomo.

I enjoyed my high school years at kokomo highschool. They helped you take classes you were interested in for a future career. They had a good volcational school that had programs also for a future career. They offered college ready classes and some that would count as a college credit. Teachers and adminstration were always kind and helpful when you had a problem. There were several sports and clubs to choose from. No one i knew ever had any problems. I would recommend this school to others in the area!
I really enjoyed attending Kokomo High School. They have a lot of opportunities there, such as Kokomo Area Career Center. Which allows you to start looking for jobs you're interested in while still in High School. It allowed me to get scholarships for college also! All of the staff is very supportive also which helps out a lot.
