Klein High School is part of a wonderful community with staff members who support you and your future. Recently our school won the national award for character because of our strong minded, hardworking principal, Jessica Haddox. She and many others established what students call the "Klein 5". The Klein 5 are important characteristics that make up every student at Klein High, which are of perseverance, empathy, gratitude, service, and integrity. Each and every student at our school enjoys and works hard to express these qualities. Our school also offers amazing programs aimed at the career paths that interest our students. At Klein, success is an open door, no matter what you want to be, they will support you, our career programs include the CNA program, cosmetology program, mechanics program and so many more. Everyday the futures of our students get brighter, and the smiles get bigger. There isn't one thing I would change about my school, once a bearkat, always a bearkat!

The district is wonderful. Klein ISD offers a great variety of extracurricular activities and clubs to join. There are many unique classes offered that are geared towards specific career pathways as well as programs that allow students to jumpstart their college education and/or future jobs. Every high school student is assigned a laptop that they take home to do classwork on in contrast to paper homework, preparing kids more for a college/general workplace atmosphere. Klein is also one of the pioneers in the CTE realm, with superintendents all across the nation coming to tour the high schools. Every child is celebrated, and every teacher in my experience is committed to the District slogan: That each child enters with a promise and exits with a purpose. I personally have loved my time in Klein ISD and have been offered many great opportunities to make my schooling enjoyable and worthwhile!
From my eye-opening freshman year, to my successful senior year, Klein has developed me in a way I couldn't have been developed elsewhere. The school staff, teachers, coaches, and students of this school district have- throughout six years years of sweaty effort, instilled the importance of diligence into my bones. Besides being able to work hard, and emerge unscathed from pressured times, I have also been improved by my districts' investments in extracurricular activities. Klein has built me through its emphasis on fine-arts programs. I have become an experienced musician through the opportunities presented by my school district. For example, using what I learned in Klein, I've made the all-region orchestra three times over six years, and have had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of being able to participate in a Music-for-All festival, performing pieces as prestigious as Gustav Mahler's symphony number 2. Klein has given me experiences I wouldn't expect to receive from school.
