What I like about Krona-Benton City School District is that it is in a small town, so everybody knows everybody. We support each other when a family is in a rough time and that's what I like about this school. I have attended this school since kindergarten, so this is what I know. I have close friends here and great teachers each year who always remember me as I grow older. One of my greatest memories from this district is when I was in elementary school, our fire department always brought fire trucks and a mini house so we can jump out of the window during a "fire drill" and we learn about fire safety. I have a lot of memories from this district and I'm grateful for my educators.
I have been to another school where I felt like I was being judged every single day. When I moved to Kiona-Benton, I realized that I was starting to finally experience the feeling of acceptance. While Kiona-Benton does great when it comes to teachers or the social criteria, there are still some things that need to change-such as the food. We have the same food almost everyday from middle school all the way up to the high school and it became so repetitive that most people got tired of it.
Kiona Benton is good school, pretty average and could use new chrome books cause most of them don't work. I've only been going to the high school for a semester so my experience with it is short. But they are getting us college ready, even though I'm only a freshman.
They have great math and science classes for all types of levels of were your at. You can take leadership classes or leadership prep. for younger students like me. They have several bands at the school, marching band, jazz band, and orchestra. We have two choir classes, an advanced choir and a mixed choir, we also have a music through the ages class. There are a few art classes you can do but I'm doing that next year.
There is art club and drama club. We don't do plays though which I wish we did cause I do plays a lot and I'm very good at it.
