I liked most of the teachers, the classes, and the small size that allowed you to get to know everyone very well. The teachers care if you do well and want to see you succeed. I did not like how being from a small school gave me less opportunities to get ahead. Since it is a small school if you had a reputation as a bad kid you were not given second chances and no one ever gave you an opportunity to become a better kid. You would always be considered one of those kids who didn’t care and wouldn’t go anywhere in life. If you were considered a good kid and got above average grades you were given special treatment. This also includes sport stars. They were also given special treatment and extra credit to keep their grades up. I am one of those students who are considered very smart and likely to succeed so I have gotten special treatment at times. I have only recently seen how other kids are treated by some teachers and I want that to change.

I would overall say Kindred is a great school. The academics are a little bit more challenging and the bonds between teachers and peers is amazing. It is the perfect size as well, not to big, not to small. Kindred itself is an extremely safe place to live. The school spirit displayed here is amazing and a great environment to have. The sports and arts are extremely great at Kindred.
I’ve had a good experience at Kindred. There are many clubs and sports that achieve great things and are looked at with high standards. There is a lot of biking pride around the town giving you a sense of community in every classroom!
