I liked most of the teachers, the classes, and the small size that allowed you to get to know everyone very well. The teachers care if you do well and want to see you succeed. I did not like how being from a small school gave me less opportunities to get ahead. Since it is a small school if you had a reputation as a bad kid you were not given second chances and no one ever gave you an opportunity to become a better kid. You would always be considered one of those kids who didn’t care and wouldn’t go anywhere in life. If you were considered a good kid and got above average grades you were given special treatment. This also includes sport stars. They were also given special treatment and extra credit to keep their grades up. I am one of those students who are considered very smart and likely to succeed so I have gotten special treatment at times. I have only recently seen how other kids are treated by some teachers and I want that to change.

I’ve had a good experience at Kindred. There are many clubs and sports that achieve great things and are looked at with high standards. There is a lot of biking pride around the town giving you a sense of community in every classroom!
KHS is great because of it's student involvement and achievements, and because we have teachers who put everything into their teaching. They're ready and willing to help you as much one on one and in the classroom to better your learning experiences and make sure you are learning everything you possibly can and to the best of your ability.
