Killingly School District Reviews

3 reviews
I enjoy killingly and the opportunities it gives me. The resources are up to date and the teachers are very passionate about what they do. The food is actually way better than a lot of other schools I’ve seen which makes the killingly experience much better. The classes are engaging which is made possible by the amazing teachers. They all care about their students and take the steps necessary for each student to succeed. As they say here, “you have to try to fail at Killingly”.

Being at this school for four years has given me the opportunity to explore new career choices. However, there is an abundance of teacher opinion in student classes such as history, american citizenship and English. This is something that distracts from learning and that I would like to see changed.
The teachers talked down to the students, they were unwilling to help when a difficult situation arose, they were judgmental to minorties in the student body whether they be gay students or students who didn't share the same beliefs as them. I believe a majority of the teachers need to reevaluate the concept of the seperation of church and state.
