Kenilworth School District Reviews
Much of the faculty is very friendly and always willing to help, even for students whom have not had the teacher before. Being a very small school, you always run into the same faces everyday. All of teacher after a week or two will know you by your name and your face, with an average of 20-25 people per classroom, and for honors and AP courses even smaller, getting the chance for the teacher to help is always available. Even if during the school day you cannot ask the teacher for help, all teachers are ready and willing to put in the time and effort to stay after school and help any students one on one. Students also play a very good roll in keeping things friendly and fun at all times, with a surprisingly diverse crowd. The main office has a very friendly staff and principle and vice principle as well. With many changes coming to Brearley in the near future, I can only see it getting better with a bright future for those who attend.
My family had a wonderful experience in the Kenilworth Public Schools. We were all very involved in the school system as students and later as parents! Of 11 family members, 10 are college graduates & 3 have post graduate degrees!
The Teachers were great, however the school board did not listen to what the students advocated for. Also they tried to do more school spirit but that doesn't help. The funding for the school was average and they did not choose to spend it wisely. While i was in high school, the superintendent embezzled money through the school.
