Schools are very active! Each week was something new, whether it be a play, choir performance, sporting event, or weekly club activities. We had cultural days, where students and teachers of the culture of that day would dress accordingly to show it off. Councilors often met with us to insure we were doing OK with our college readiness, and even offered help and resources to scholarships and SAT/ACT dates, just in case. I had lunch at my school often. It was gourmet, but with fresh fruits and a wide variety of meals to choose from, it made up for it. My school was also very safe, reacting quickly and with the students best interests in mind. I would say Keller ISD is one of the best districts ive gone to school in.
Keller ISD has always accommodated the needs of my family and I. When I needed to transfer schools because of a zoning issue, I was able to receive help from the district. My mom became an employee of KISD and loves her work environment around kids and friendly teachers around her. I have been in KISD for only my 4 years of high school and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
Keller Independent School District has a very comfortable and encouraging environment thanks to the amazing teachers and staff members. The student population is also really diverse which allows a students to learn about other cultures over a wide spectrum. Overall, with the efforts of our teachers and students combined, the learning environment is truly amazing!
