Amazing music program, some problematic rules and a lot of troublesome students.
let's start with the biggest positive: the music program. KHS as a state-of-the-art concert hall that breeds an amazing music and fine arts program. award-winning marching band and competitive theater groups, and some amazing opportunities to work with teachers who really know what they're doing.
now the negatives: i'll just group it all together and call it the environment. KHS has a pretty big problem with students acting up, and an even bigger problem with school administration not taking appropriate measures to prevent/punish harmful actions of the students

So helpful in getting me more challenging courses as a high schooler. Fantastic theater program and facilities!
I have had a great experience at Kearney High School, the teachers and administrators care about the students and their education. If i could change something about Kearney Public Schools it would be to do a better job preparing kids for their future.
