My experience at KLSD has been both interesting and boring at once. I think our community is getting much better at noticing and educating on important issues concerning discrimination, race, etc. On the other hand, our district is sort of in a bubble full of white privilege. There is very little diversity and a lack of interest in minorities and America's issues. Finding a good group of kids, one's that won't talk poorly behind your back and have a good sense of ethics, is rare. I have been fortunate enough to find those people and I'm happy to say that they've made my experience at this school district all the better,
School district is very good from top to bottom with a variety of excellent teachers and a great supporting staff. Faculty does a good job of being there for students and helping them succeed academically. They do an excellent job of preparing students for college and life beyond college.
I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at JJHS located in Cross River, NY. Teachers are intelligent and care deeply about their students. They do a phenomenal job at preparing students for college.
