Katonah-Lewisboro Union Free School District Reviews

In all honesty, cannot recommend KLSD. Kid's been going there since kindergarten. Textbook usage is lacking, and curriculum lacks coherence. They want to do everything "online" like everyone else, but academics is below average. Also, no homework on weekends and a reason to close for every administrative conference in the world just has kids very poorly prepared for college and the real world. As parents, the onus is completely on us for that, and yes, while I expect to take on significant responsiblity in this area, the school does not hold up its end.

Amazing academics, amazing teachers who are easy to learn from and connect with. A lackluster culture, especially in terms of diversity and inclusion.
The children in the high school have a high standard of learning. The community is heavily involved with the school and sports. Only issues we had is when a teacher goes on leave, the replacement is sometimes not teaching what kids need for AP exams
