I absolutely love Juab High School! Being a part of a great community and small town gives us a million opportunities to do and become whatever we can dream up! I would like to see more change in the focus of the School District and technology. While learning on iPads has been great, I think students and teachers are becoming more accustomed to the fast paced networking and lenience of it all. This creates an environment of irresponsibility. I think we would have a lot less problems if teachers held students more accountable and went away with the requirement of iPads.
My start at Juab was really rough. I felt alone, scared, and depressed all the time. As I attended and grew, I realized that if I had the choice to go to any other school, I wouldn't. The staff here cares so much for the students, many know me on a personal level. The students are willing to sit down with you most of the time and learn about you as a person and are willing to try new things. The school spirit is passionate and cheerful, and everyone is there for each other. I feel safe, secure, and the only thing I would ask is that some of the teacher's personal beliefs did not get in the way of teaching. I really could not ask for a better school or better friends.
Juab High School is on the cutting edge and you receive a quality 21st century education. I feel totally prepared and confident to go to college and be successful. I loved everything about my high school experience!
