Growing up in the Jennings County School Corporation has greatly benefitted me as a young adult and a young scholar. Growing up in the Jennings County school corporation, I learned the value of respect. As an elementary student, I was encouraged to think outside the box and to try my best. As I transitioned into middle school, the School Corporation provided me with a sense of belonging and helped me start thinking of my future. Middle school was full of caring teachers, providing me once again with the assurance that I could make a difference. As I moved to high school, I knew that I wanted to be an engineer because of the values that the School Corporation taught me. High school was full of amazing opportunities to give myself a start on my college courses. I am now attending The University of Indianapolis as a mechanical engineering student. I give all the credit to my School Corporation for helping to form me into the respectful and dedicated young adult that I am today.
I love the way teachers are so involved. I am so thankful I got to be part of such an outstanding school. I would only change the school lunch menu; however, they offer free lunch which I am very appreciative of.
My experience with Jennings County High School is decent. We have very good administrators. We have a lot of excellent teachers, however, there are quite a few teachers who have very poor teaching skills.
