Jefferson Elementary School District (Daly City) Reviews

Overall, Jefferson School District is average. I've been in the district all my life starting from 1st grade to now 12th. As time goes on , I believe the academics, college readiness, facilities and parent involvement stay on average. The teachers, administration and the resources are easily accessible and are great providers. Through experience, I'd say the culture as well as the diversity JSD has in terrific. There's many people with MANY different stories and it makes the community feel safe and harmonic. The weakest component is the food and sports. The food is either dry or really hard and occasionally there isn't enough food for every student. The sports I'd say there a variety, but the problem is the athletic directors/ funding for each and every sport is terrible. There need to be more funding for equipment to ensure safety for players as well as an equal opportunity to better ourselves in the sport.

I like that the Jefferson School District if very diverse. The school I attend has people of multiple races but also religions. I also feel that my school does a very good job about preparing its students for college and allowing us to succeed in the future. The resources are the best part about the school, everything we need to learn is on the computer. We do not carry any textbooks which makes our bags so much lighter. Something I would change is the sports at my school. I do not have all the sports a typical high school would have. I would also change the school food for lunch, I would get it for lunch if it was good. Since it is not, I always bring my own food from home.
Never go to this school kids sell cocaine and other drugs say curse words and the teachers are terrible. Kids threaten other kids to beat them up after school. Spread rumors and lies about other students.
