Jefferson Davis Parish Public Schools Reviews

I do not like the uniform policy. I know that most schools do this in order to make kids all feel the same. We are not all the same. Boys are boys and girls should dress like girls. Instead of trying to teach everyone we are all same why aren't we teaching our kids everyone is different and that is ok. Instead of pushing for everyone to be alike. Push. that it matters how you treat people around you not what you look like. Where has diversity gone? Teach acceptance of all not be uniformily alike. Everyone is unique and different. This doesn't just go for this school. The lunches are the most ridiculous laughing stock I've experienced thus far. Government gives money to these schools in return for their agenda. It's absurd. The states need to take back their schools. What happened to cooked lunches. Processed foods are not as healthy as fresh cooked meals like I had in school. No matter how you spin it individual pre packaged processed cornbread is not healthy.

My experience in Jefferson Davis parish schools are quite phenomenal. I have been coming to Jefferson Davis from Pre-k to 12th grade. I currently go to Hathaway High School which is in Jennings, LA. There are five different public schools all of which have different grade levels which causes you to switch schools ever couple of years. I have been to all five of them and have had good experiences. The teachers are all ways there to help you with work or personal needs. I have been bullied a couple of times because i'm short and have big ears but turned out those kids are some of my best friends just were immature. so having a close community paid off in the end to me having a successful high school.
They give us the best education possible. The staff are amazing. There’s no other parish i’d rather live in.
