The Jackson School District has really led me into a bright future. The teachers always try to get everyone involved into doing something, the administration and teachers keep us updated on everything that is happening within our school, clubs, sports, and the community. Jackson is a really big district but the experience with meeting new friends and teachers and all of the experiences is worth it.

I first moved to Jackson, Missouri from a neighboring town called Cape Girardeau, only about twenty minutes away. Moving at the age eight, to a whole new schooling environment, was going to be challenge. I remember my first day of second grade at Jackson was too good to be true. I got a class with, still to this day, my two best friends that I will be graduating with this next year. My teacher, Mrs. Brazil, even gave out snacks to kids who did not eat breakfast or got hungry during the day. How could school get any better than that! From that day on I realized how much teacher actually care about the kids in their class at the Jackson School district. Now that I'm at my last year of high still to this day teacher still care for their students. For me, teachers have been more than willing to stay with me after school or even in the morning to make sure I know the material that they are teaching. Because of this I have made good grades and able to go to college.
I enjoy the time and success offers. The district has help available before, during, and after school. The office always has scholarship information and forums for potential scholarship-like deals. The students are open and everyone is guaranteed to find a crowd where they feel at home. Additionally, everyone has a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities to take part in.
