Jackson Local School District Reviews
Jackson pushes its students to be their best and provides the tools needed for students willing to put in hard work. There are countless opportunities to better yourself through volunteering, extracurriculars, academics, and college help. The teachers are fantastic and genuinely care for students, and they work coherently so that school activities remain organized and at least somewhat enjoyable. The school is majorly involved in the realm of athletics, as well as in the arts. The high school offers a school of art and global studies, within the school, so that students are able to further interests and explore themselves during the courses and field trips.
I feel that Jackson Local Schools has prepared me for college life. Compared to other schools we are way ahead of the game. Sometimes more effort is put upon succeeding in academics rather than being happy less stressed individuals. There have been a couple of mental health tragedies involved in the district, so they incorporated a new class to help deal with mental predicaments. I have greatly enjoyed attending this district from kindergarten and feel really prepared to attend college because of all the CCP courses and assistance available.
I have had a wonderful twelve years in the Jackson Local School District and can not believe that I only have one year left. For the most part, my teachers have all been wonderful and always have students' best interests at heart. I have had the opportunity to be a part of many different clubs, organizations, and sports teams during my time at JLSD. These extracurriculars have given me the opportunity to try new things, find out what I am truly passionate about, and, most importantly, teach me lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. As I enter my senior year, I am reminded of how much I will miss this school district. As an aspiring teacher, I am hopeful that I will one day return to my hometown as an educator.
