Overall I think Jackson is a pretty nice school district. They offer a lot of elective classes so there is something for just about everyone and lots of extracurricular activities. The first thing I would like to see change is the lunch food. It has gotten better and worse in certain aspects. Some things have gotten better and other things still aren't the best. Another thing is putting funding in more than just the top sports. I personally am not in theatre, but I do have some friends in theatre and I know they don't get as much attention as football and baseball do.
I loved how JCC you can connect with the teachers and learn but also have fun with them! Our sports coaches are always there for you and you push you to be a better person and athlete.
Jackson County Central was a really good experience for me. Even though it did not prepare me for college very well, it taught me to take initiative myself. I had to go out of my way to do things I thought the school would help me with. It prepared me for being independent and reliant on myself to get stuff done.
