Ironwood Area Schools of Gogebic County Reviews

3 reviews
Ironwood Area Schools is a small rural school. There is very little cultural diversity and acceptance of outsiders. Opportunities are limited and faculty fails to adequately prepare students for college. This is due to the lack of resources in the area. The school is making an attempt to improve the resources available. The improvement of resources is allowing the underclassmen to better prepare themselves. The majority of teachers are friendly and helpful. They, along with the staff, genuinely care about the students within the school. Additionally, Ironwood's athletic and music clubs are excellent. For a small rural school the clubs at Ironwood Area Schools provide fantastic opportunities for students of all ability ranges. Overall, I was satisfied with my time at Ironwood Area Schools.

It's what you can expect from a small town in the Upper Peninsula. At least there's dual enrollment options.
It was easy to have a good relationship with the teachers and to get one on one help. my only complaint is that the internet is terrible and our computers our in terrible shape.
