The education is great when it comes to some of the classes. The staff has amazing teachers that are willing to move the world to help their students. Sadly, when it comes to sports, unless you play basketball be prepared to get zero attention, especially for powerlifting. The lunch ladies are by far the best women I have ever met and go above and beyond for each kid. I would like to see changes in some of the administration, because that is what the school needs to be successful.
I have had a wonderful experience at Irion County Highschool. I have attended the school K-12 and have loved almost every minute of it.
Irion County is a great school. It is very supporting and everyone is involved and that gives a great sense of community. The teachers are always there for their students in school and out of school.
