Irene-Wakonda School District Reviews

2 reviews
I love small schools like Irene-Wakonda because of how close everyone is with one another. I feel that you can talk to anyone you want without fear. Everyone knows everyone and the teachers are good at acknowledging each of the students. One downside of a smaller school is that there aren’t very many clubs or activities. The sports include cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, and track. There are other activities dealing with the arts like oral interp, one act play, all school play, and chorus as well. Not as many students participate in the arts activities as they do in the sports. I think that is the one downside as a smaller school.

Small school that has a lot of opportunities to offer. Advisors go out of their way to help the students succeed.
