Inver Grove Heights Community Schools Reviews
Since I've started my college career at Inver Hills Community College, I have had nothing short of great experiences. The faculty is extremely helpful and informative when it comes to all degree concerns, they set their students up for success. The campus is comprised of people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, I'm honored to be able to share a space with people from all different cultures. I've noticed most community colleges are relatively small in size and number. I like attending a small school, in the sense that the faculty and students build close personal relationships with one another and for that reason is what makes the college experience so much more enjoyable to partake in. Having a support system comprised of people who have helped you achieve your goals, and genuinely want to see you succeed bring about a wonderful and encouraging feeling. I feel very fortunate to be able to share a stressful part of my life, such as college, with such motivating individuals.
There are some really good teachers that have come into the district. More females are teaching science and math at the high school level. They do need to broaden their advanced placement classes and look at careers that graduates are going into.
The professors are very genuine and are willing to help you if you are struggling. I wish there were more things I could do that I was interested in to get involved with the community better. I also wish there were more athletic opportunities.
