Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School is an excellent place to learn and grow into fine young adults. Teachers are willing and able to prepare us for life after high school, whether or not we go to college! The art programs are awesome and I would especially like to recognize Mr. Brehse for his terrific enthusiasm for the arts! Faculty at the school are chosen for their kindness and their ability to build up students' mindfulness towards others. Mr. Pardy, our school's principal, is an excellent example of what our students become: well -rounded, kind, interested, warm and caring people. Those who become graduates go on to excel in their lives because of the lessons learned. We are truly our school's motto: President's Pride!!

I went to elementary, middle school and high school in the Hyde Park Central School District. The district is just the right size, not too small and too large a student body. Most of the teaching staff is excellent and I believe I received a great education throughout my years attending at Hyde Park. The District also offers a lot of sports and is very supportive to student athletes. I found my guidance counselor to be helpful in getting me ready for college and placing me classes that were geared towards that goal. Overall, the District has provided with an education so that I can succeed in a higher education setting.
My experience at the Hyde park central school district was overall great. The teachers and staff are very nice and understanding. I had a very fun time compete in modified, JV and varsity sports. I am enrolled in a class called AVID that is a college readiness course that few schools have. And it has prepared me to be ready for the heavy workload in college. Also I have made many friends because all of the students are very nice and welcoming. There are many clubs to join and the guidance counselors care about each student very much.
