Humphreys County School District Reviews

3 reviews
I attended the Waverly Junior High School and am currently a senior in Waverly Central High School. The experience is as one would expect from a public high school. In general, they provide information but don't really teach it well. Sports is stressed more in our school that the arts or academics. If you are not a ball player, then you are automatically less important. The school food isn't terrible (IT also isn't great) and the art programs lack funds. Drugs run rampant in the school and the teachers seem to hate their jobs. The school isn't completely terrible, though. There are good teachers, there is good food, and you can learn if you apply yourself.

The teachers are caring and compassionate. The teachers always welcome your input. They are willing to go above and beyond to help the kids understand. I feel like my kids always knew that they could go to their teachers for anything.
Humphreys county is a small district that faces challenges. The faculity want to see the students succeed however.
