Humboldt City School District Reviews

The experience I've had with this school is about average. The staff can be nice but harsh when needed, and the classes are easy if you pay attention and ask for help if you need it. Students from india and texas have come to this school and have good and bad things to say about it. Therefore i rate this school average.

In my 4 year experience @ Humboldt High School I have enjoyed the athletic department. I find it competitive for myself and as a whole with other schools in the area. The coaches care about each player and pushes you to do all that you can in academics as well as sports. What dislike about Humboldt High School are the lunches that are served, I find myself always hungry each day because there was nothing that i wanted to eat. I would like for the school system to provide classes that would help each student to be ready for college in their years ahead. I find that we didn't write essays as much as we could or speak openly in front of others to help with confidence.
Humboldt City District Schools isn't a bad school but at the time it lacked college preparation for upcoming juniors and seniors. Most of the students are African American so there isn't much diversity there. Other than that it's a good school.
