Excellent curriculum, great selection of courses in our health care academy that has prepared me for a future in medicine. Hudson also has a great ice hockey program which resulted in skating in the WI state hockey tournament. Great teachers and coaches!
My elementary experience was really great. I had a lot of wonderful teachers and felt accepted to be who I am. Middle school started of curious, there were a lot of new kids I didn't know. I ended up becoming friends with all sorts of new people. By the time middle school ended, I was ready to move on. In high school, I had plenty of fun with more friends, as well as more freedom. Unfortunately in March of my freshman year, there was a global pandemic. When I went back in person junior year, it was like I never left. Now I am in my senior year and having the time of my life. Overall, I have taken classes I have enjoyed, met so many new people, and got to learn better about myself.
I have loved being part of Hudson School District, where I have been in tennis, gymnastics, track, choir, and NHS, and in each of these I have felt extremely welcomed and valued. That is the main thing I love about the Hudson School District... whatever you are involved in, you are encouraged and have many people involved with you, as the community thrives in supporting our strong athletics and academics. The only negative thing I can say is that there is not much diversity, but it is getting better!
