I’ve attended Dibol, Tarkington, Lufkin, and I’m currently attending Hudson High School. I believe Hudson is the best school in my area because all the students are welcoming and friendly, the teachers always try new things to help their students better understand, and the distinct is constantly bringing in new things to help reach other types of people. For instance, Hudson has added E Sports this year, we were going to have volleyball but due to COVID we won’t get it until next year, and they value their students education. Hudson believes that if a student can do it then who says we should hold them back, so they for the past couple of year allowed students to take college classes and last year was the first set of students to graduate with their associates degree. Hudson has also partnered with our local hospital to allow students to participate in clinicals.

I love how welcoming the administration was when I moved to this school. They cared about my opinions and input. Each teacher has their own style, but I appreciate the willingness they have to listen to their students and the passion they have for teaching. The only thing I would really change is the food options in the cafeteria and the way that some students hold themselves above others. Our athletics are usually pretty good, our band is great, the choir needs some work, but overall the coaching and staff are very good.
Moving to Hudson was the best choice I could have made in my academic life. The school has taught me how to input what I learn into my everyday life. Hudson High School is a peaceful environment that allows a more personal connection with the teachers, allowing the student to understand the material better. Overall, Hudson allows students who don't function in big crowds to excel.
