I have only lived in Hudson for two years but in the two years I have lived here it has been an enjoyable experience. Hudson high school has very capable and embarrassing Teachers, as well as a diverse selection of courses. In addition, there are several unique and interesting clubs and groups open to anybody to join. I found my passion on the HHS Basketball team as their statistician and it has been a blast!

The Hudson City School district is comprised of many effective leaders such as Mr. Wilch our principal and Mr. Miller our vice principal, who both are always visible and able to successfully convey the school's goals and visions while collaborating with teachers to get their message out in a positive but stern manner. The whole district is actively involved in the discovery of the solutions to the school problems and has high expectations of students, as well as teachers. Hudson City School District is a top rated, public school district with over 4,500 students with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1. According to state test scores, 89% of students are at least proficient in math and 87% in reading and spends a minimum of $10,988 per year per student which is quite remarkable. Bottom line, they get you very prepared for life and college.
I love Hudson city schools! I receive a great education and feel safe going to school everyday. I moved to this school district in middle school, the teachers and principals were very helpful and focused on helping me catch up and feel comfortable.
