Horatio School District Reviews

At this district, we have excellent teachers, yet a very negative system. We have a system that attempts to convince that we are prepared for college when in reality, we are not. With the system, if a student does not submit they are rewarded. Instead of treating the things how they should be.I mean of this by their grade. When a student does not do their work at his school, they are rewarded with 10 extra days to finish the assignment. Is this really what this school should be doing? Should we applause, when a student does not turn their assignment in? A college does not give you 10 days to make up an assignment;no you get a zero. Don’t get me wrong, with the interpretation.Yes a teacher should help a student with their grade if needed, but how can this happen if the student doesn’t want the help?We do have touting, but not many people use it wisely. If our school wants to prepare our students, I personally think we have not found it.

I love Horatio High School, it's a great school to go to if you don't really like big schools. There is more one on one with the teachers, and our school is like one big family. The food isn't too great, but other than that it's a great school.
