My experience with Hoover High School could not too no other. All of my teachers were kind and caring and always made sure each student was prepared. No only we're the teachers and environment was great but to top it off the sports team. Cheering on the bucs was one of my greatest memories in high school. Having such outstanding athletes and coaches made our school stand out from any other. Hoover was my second home and I would not in a million years wanted to go to a different school. Also, Hoover was so complex and knew how to keep everyone safe. We would practice fire drills, tornado drills and code red drills to make us prepared and more sufficient if the event really occurred. None the less I would like to thank our principal Mr. Hulin for being the best principal ever. Not only did he make me cry at graduation but made me feel happy that I had such a wonderful time at Hoover high school. Go bucs!

As a student in the Hoover City Schools system, my overall experience as a high school senior has been wonderful. I have made life long friends throughout my k-12 journey and even found my college roommate. Hoover High School specifically is very diverse in culture and I have always felt very welcome. When I attend school each day, I feel very safe thanks to the SRO officers. They work very hard each day to provide a safe environment for Hoover City Schools students. Throughout my k-12 journey, I have found that the teachers are very understanding and excellent at their job. When I have missed class due to being sick or on a field trip, they have always been very open to helping me with the material. They are always open to answering any questions I may have and are very good at communicating. While the days felt long during my k-12 journey, the years flew by so fast and I could not be more grateful for the opportunities Hoover City Schools system has given me along this journey.
I have been enrolled in Hoover City Schools all my life. I enjoy the diversity, encouraging spirit, and multiple opportunities given at Hoover. Being at the high school I have introduced many ideas to include all corners of diversity and all of the ideas were supported by our school. Hoover is a great school system and there isn't much I would change about it. If I could change a few things it would be to: have better pep rallies, better verbalize all the opportunities at Hoover, include a seminar that helped Seniors find scholarships, colleges, and FASFA.
