Hominy Public Schools Reviews

I have been in Hominy Public Schools since kindergarten. This year we are class A-6 district state champions for football. Hominy is very small! You might consider that a bad thing but, it has many advantages. In my opinion it is easier get swept under the rug when in a bigger school. They not only get to know you academically but, personally too. People think just because you go to a small school its easier to have a higher GPA, that most definitely is not the case.(For me at least!) They push you harder, because they believe you can do better.Hominy Public Schools makes you feel at home. While yes, it does have disadvantages too. Our schools do not have as much funding as needed. Hominy does have a bullying problem. I am very fortunate to not be on the receiving or delivering end of this problem. Hominy overall is a wonderful school, I would NOT want to go to any other school!

Hominy is a very small town, where everybody knows everybody. I liked the student/teacher relationship and classroom atmosphere. It's time for Hominy to upgrade everything, the textbooks, technology and the building too. Start preparing juniors and seniors for college and life skills as we go into adulthood.
I have attended Hominy for my whole life, so of course I did get tired of it after awhile. This year i have not wanted anything but to get out of this town. I do believe that i will really miss this place because not only is my hometown, but the people here are amazing you do run into a few that you don't like but that's gonna happen everywhere. Hominy is a small school so you really got to get to know everyone in a different way. I think the best thing at Hominy High would have to be the school spirit. There are very few people that don't attend all sports games. Although the facility and the staff could use a little improvement I believe that anyone would love it here in good ole' Hominy, America.
