My experience at Homer Schools was pretty much the same as others. I witnessed some things that I think should have been handled differently, such as sexual harassment, but I also think there were some positives. The teachers are always friendly and willing to help. In a sports-driven school, the arts are still seemingly being supported. There have also been some recent expansions to the AP classes that are available for students to take. I do believe that the administrators should support more than just their football team, but all in all, it's a very good environment to learn in.
I have gone to Homer Community Schools since I was 4 years old. I have always felt as if I were part of a big family here. Everyone was willing to help everyone. The teachers that I have had previously are still a big part of my education especially if I need help in a class and the teachers I have now I can definitely count on in the future as I enroll in college classes and start a new journey. I am very blessed with Homer Community Schools and the amount the have helped me since as long as I can remember.
Homer Schools is a small school located in Homer, Michigan. A great place to learn the student to teacher ratio is perfect, and the atmosphere is set up to learn. Being that Homer is a small school, the opportunity to be involved with sports and extracurricular activities is very significant. Athletic facilities are very well kept and updated. The whole school has recently been redone in the past years, and the central part of the school is within ten years old.
