Holt Public Schools Reviews
I’ve been apart of the holt School District since I was six years old and I’m proud to be a Holt Ram! From grade school to high school I’ve met so many wonder teachers and staff that have helped me become a more successful student by sacrificing so much of there time to make sure us students are succeeding. The teachers in the Holt School District are more than just teachers, they are parents, counselors and coaches to us students all in one. Every School District deserves such a diverse team devoted to helping students become successful! Once again I’m proud to say that I am and will forever be a Holt Ram.
My experience at Holt Public Schools was fairly good. The schools are pretty diverse compared to schools in the area. With that diversity came a wide variety of academic opportunities that were offered to all students. The clubs/activities at the high school could have been better as I would have wished to have seen more clubs that were open to more than just a select group of students. The clubs could have been more flexible with arranging meetings to allow for more students to have the opportunity to attend. I'd say for the most part teachers were average. Throughout high school I'd always have a teacher who didn't care as much as other teachers did which is reflected in my rating. I had a few teachers which had a great impact on me who made my high school experience that much better. Overall, my experience at Holt High School was great.
To me, Holt Public schools has a lot of good traits and bad traits. One of the main highlights of Holt is the senior campus. This is supposed to be a separate school for seniors only, and it should be used as a place to get ready for post secondary plans. Although many staff members do try to get the students ready for after high school plans, I don’t feel as if I’m ready. Summarizing it up, I would say to prepare for college staff members tell students what to do, but not how to do it or why they need to do it. Also on the other hand they tell us why we need to do something, but not what to do.
