Being a minority of a Caucasian dominant school is quite challenging. I've been mistreated and bullied for my color, so I'd say that some of the students here are quite rotten. Sure, the school addresses bullying here and there, but that still doesn't change the fact that some students will continue to have a nasty attitude towards others. Other than my personal experience, the overall curriculum is nice because there's dual credit that transfers to Western Technical College for certain classes.
Overall, my experience at Holmen high school was good. I enjoyed the different classes they offered. you could take anything from a automotive class to AP classes. the building itself is getting a little outdated but meets the needs of the students it houses. Like any school, Holmen has the teachers who are there for the students and helping them to become well-rounded adults and those that went into teaching so they could have summers off.
