I am a senior at Hollister Schools. I have only attended high school here and there has been many changes. When I first transferred I only knew one person. I was very shy and had no friends. During my time in high school I started as a nobody and became a very involved student. I do not remember my freshman year because there was nothing memorable about it. Throughout my high school career, I learned to be outgoing and more spontaneous. I joined many clubs, my favorite being FFA. I gained many valuable friendships while attending high school. One of the biggest changes during these four years was when we got new principals my senior year. This change was very good. Our higher administration became more involved with students and built long-lasting bonds with many students. My experience at Hollister High School was exceptional and I would go back in a blink of an eye because it's over just like that.

I first started going to Hollister High School my 8th grade year.

I always have felt at home here. The teachers greet me every morning and ask how I am doing, the staff watches over you so you are safe and successful. and the administrators understand my special circumstances and have supported and accommodated for me every step of the way.

The student body is close with one another, we treat each other well and like family. We try to get involved and bring more excitement into the school so it isn't just another boring and restrictive high school. We all support each other in our own endeavors and whenever one of us needs something, we are there for them.

This school is always working to improve and do better and be better than before. Each year and each semester is a fresh start to learning and having fun and I can't wait to look back on my high school years and cherish what I had.
I liked how several of the teachers and faculty within this district were very helpful towards all students. The size of the school was also very nice, because we all knew each other, and kind of made each other one big family.
