I love that Holdrege is passionate about what they say. We may be a small town but when we have a game day, the ENTIRE town knows it. We also make sure that out community is taken care of. I know a lot of people who have helped the elderly just because they're class saw a problem. We love all of our teachers and our teachers love us back. I wouldn't be going into the major I am if I didn't take my Psychology class my junior year. It turned a lot of gears in my head and really got me thinking about what i wanted to do with life.
I had a great experience at Holdrege High School. There are a wide variety of activities available. I participated in robotics, theatre, and band. The student body is varied as well allowing you to find your own group of friends that you have things in common with. One thing I would like to see changed at HHS is the amount of computer related courses offered. Computers are a major part of our lives now and everyone needs to be ready to use them.
Teachers really care about their students academics and personal health and the extracurricular activities are well organized. They also have a very good variety of the fine arts to participate in. They view academics, sports, and arts equally important.
