Hitchcock County Schools Reviews
Hitchcock County schools are very focused on prepping their students for college and giving their students a great education. However, the school lacks in its extracurricular activities. The music program especially is very poor as well as the coaching tactics and skills in several sports. The school itself is very strict and pushes its students to their limits. Sometimes this is a good thing, other times it's not. The school lacks in culture and does not emphasize any extracurricular activity other than athletics. Most clubs and organizations fail to continue since they compete with athletics practices. The music, speech, art, and cheer programs all suffer because of the demand from athletics.
Hitchcock County Jr/Sr school is a amazing school. This school really focuses on repairing students for college, and after college. The teachers really understand how every students learns at a different pase. They work to help each and every student to succeed, while promoting extra curricular activities.
Hitchcock County pushed me to take advanced class and made sure I was understanding the material in each topic. They create relationships with students that help when they need extra assistance on assignments. I would like to see more college classes available for students to take in the future though.
