Hinckley Big Rock Community Unit School District No. 429 Reviews
The principle is running the school like he’s a tyrant. The issues that they micromanage is unfathomable.I received punishment because my car wouldn’t start one morning I walked in a minute late they didn’t have any sympathy they said that if I was late another time I’d be in serious trouble. This happens to only me but many other students have it’s to the point where students feel like they should just skip the first half of the day because they don’t wanna get in trouble.
HBR is a great school, the teachers there have put in so much effort and because of that I am able to grow in so many ways but especially my academics. I would change the amount of electives if I could along with the clubs, I wish there was more so I could do more!
I personally liked it because I had a good friend group and wasn't bullied like some kids. I know there is a problem with drugs and alcohol but overall if you get in with a good group of kids your experience should be fine.
