It is a really good district for those students that are wanting to go to college! However it does not have a path for those who are not interested in going to college. This should helped be determined early their freshman year as to not waste a students time and energy on a path that is not for them. The schools should not be a one size fits all approach, and start helping students that have a different way of learning so they can succeed!

Pretty average school. Teachers and security guards do have favorites and some teachers think they’re young as if they are one of the students. Some teachers and security guards prefer the “cool” kids which are actually the bad kids or football players, those kids are spoiled with hall passes, candy, extra credit, a ride on the securities golf cart and more. Although I was lucky enough to get the regular teachers as in a teacher that doesn’t have favorites and treats everyone equally, I do feel like I’ve missed out on some “fun high school moments” by not having at least one of those other teachers
I loved my experience at Higley High School! I would recommend doing a club, sport, art, etc. because it makes high school a better experience. Also, I made a lot of friends doing cheer and dance. I love the teachers and how helpful they always are!
