Rating 4.5 out of 5 2 reviews
I like Hayes Center High School because it is very small (it has up to 25 students in the whole high school) and it gives me an opportunity to participate in different extracurricular activities that in other bigger high schools I would not have a chance to do. If I had to change or improve something in my school it would be the music program. Not many students participate in choir or band because they are busy doing sports or other activities.
Overall my experience here has been good. Being in a small school system has really helped me in the long run to thrive in the things I do. However, I do feel that different activity coordinators need to be more understanding that in such a small school everyone is in everything. And sometimes kids need a break or really don't want to be forced into things.
