Hawkins County School District Reviews
Have had wonderful experience with Hawkins county schools, excellent teachers, staff, good learning for kids, and parenting are kept on top of everything. I would like to see more things such as, bullying in school enforced more!
The facilities were very nice, however they were a bit dated. While some clubs thrived, others showed no participation in competitions outside of the classroom. Cherokee High did not have much diversity in the school, but that is not always a bad thing. Our administration is outstanding. They are always on top of things making school the safest place as possible, and they continually pushed students to study and improve their score on the ACT. Also, in the classrooms the teachers pushed us to be the best and attempted to prepare us for college as much as they could.
I liked the size of my school and the opportunities t develop relationships with teachers, but I would have liked better administration and more opportunities.
