Rating 3.89 out of 5 9 reviews
I love the community that exists between the teachers and students. Especially, after COVID-19 teachers were very understanding but also challenged us to gain skills toward state goals. Our sport community is very supportive and competitive. My middle and high school was combined so I think the personal belonging to a building will be sad to look back on. I have had such great experiences with clubs.
The Hasbrouck Heights School district places too much importance on sports and has a very limited selection of extracurriculars and academic opportunities. I think that the district should work toward maintaining a balance that can provide students with the resources to build a robust resume and become more well rounded individuals.
I have attended the Hasbrouck Heights School District for four years now. It is a pretty average school district, offers some good opportunities through sports. If you happen to either be in their football or track team you will most likely be favored over other students. They mostly focus on their sports team and not so much on their Artistic kids. Besides that their teachers are really good and they offer a lot of support to their students.
