Growing up in the Hardin county school system was quite an experiance. I never really felt any discomfort or was ever put into any situations that I did not want to be in. I believe that the school system has always prepared me for was coming, getting me ready for the next level of education. I have exceeded in the school system having maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout of highschool. Teachers have alway been there for me and I always felt as if there was someone I could talk to if I ever had any problems. Overall a great experiance and I wouldnt have wanted it any other way.
The teachers are genuinely committed to helping students in any way possible. From staying after school for tutoring and meeting during online video calls for private one-on-one help to talking about their day and being there for anyone who needs it. They support each other and build a positive environment for any and all students and staff. If there was one issue, it is with the counseling department. They often seem to have an obscene amount of work that takes time to complete, delaying opportunities for speaking one-on-one for class scheduling. The school itself is kept clean and adheres to a no-bully and no fighting policy. Any physical encounters that break out are rare and are quickly split apart by staff members. In the end, a fantastic school.
At the elementary school, middle school, and high school I've gone to in Hardin county teachers actually seem to care. They'll just start up a conversation and they try to connect to their students. They give many Opportunities for their students like tutoring, after-school rides, counseling, college prep. the teachers and people in Hardin county are great and Hardin county school in my experience I was overall pleased and happy I'm in this district.
