My school and the county I live in may be small but we are dedicated to our education. With the high attendance records it has made a way for a higher graduation rate. The staff at the schools have all dedicated themselves even in a troubling time such as this with the pandemic in place. The extra curricular activities such as sports have kept everyone including myself busy to better not only our education but our school year and our confidence. Everyone in our community works together to make sure the schools are ran with greatness. It is a safe and strong environment for us students. They teach us we can accomplish the things and ideas we set our mind to. Most places does not prepare you for the world you are heading into but this educational system guides you every step of the way. The high school creates pathways to guide you in the direction you are wanting to graduate and start your career in. They have pathways from sports to foreign language and science and theatre.
One thing I can truly applaud Haralson County schools for is that the majority of the teachers TRULY care. They don’t just teach the students because it’s their job. It’s a passion for them and they truly care about the students and their well being. Since the faculty care so much about the well being of students, the campus is also rather safe. The administration really tends to stick to their rules, which can be a great thing for the safety of students. The school also has great programs and sports to be a part of. The campus itself (especially the bathrooms) could especially use some remodeling and special care. The student body lacks diversity, but you can’t expect much for the area anyways.
Haralson County Schools is a great school system with many wonderful teachers and coaches. Because it is in rural Georgia, it is not a large school, but it has a great learning environment.
