Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District Reviews
I wouldn't change anything. This is a small town district that cares about its students and the community. Everyone I've attended school with over the years has become like family to each other due to the closeness of the town. We all look out for and support each other personally and academically.
While the staff at the high school is excellent, a lot of the students there are far from kind. There are a lot of entitled kids in this school who treat others less than they deserve. And being one of the few kids at this school who are not white is hard, I definitely have moments where I feel out of place. But again, the teachers and councilors at this school are extremely kind and treat all the students with respect. The academics are also pretty incredible.
Though not the best in diversity or acceptance of minority, this district is high in activities and sports that are offered to all students through out grade levels.
Good experience, kids always have done well with no issues. Seems safe, have liked the majority of the teachers with only a couple of exceptions. Have one child who graduated already, and one currently in eighth grade. They have gone thru Mile Tree, Stony Hill, Soule Road, Wilbraham Middle and Minnechaug Regional schools.
