Many teachers in the district have had a lasting impact on myself and my view of life. At Minnechaug Regional High School, the teachers even stayed loyal to the effort they put into their work during an extended period of time without a teaching contract!
One area where I think the district has struggled is in the area of disciplinary administration, as I saw at Wilbraham Middle School and Minnechaug Regional High School.
Another problem I have picked up on within the district is an increasing problematic student culture, especially at Minnechaug Regional High School. Many students have exhibited very concerning, exclusionary, and intolerant behaviors that have caused turmoil for other peers, as well as teachers.
Overall, I believe that the best part about the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District is the very hard-working teachers that have left an influence on my life, as well as my peers' lives, and the positive influence they have on other aspects of the district.

Wonderful teachers who care about their students and who want to help you reach your future goals! The staff and administration are also great. You are pushed to do the best you can do and in turn, it is awarding for whatever you decide to pursue in the future.
The school district is very wonderful. Everyone is kind and caring. All the schools have excellent staff. Most needs are met with high expectations. All staff and students are welcoming toward all. Parents are always involved in student success. All the schools are kept clean by the exceptional janitorial staff across the whole district. The teachers are all greatly appreciated by staff, students, and parents. They all meet high expectations. All students feel safe when they enter their classrooms due to the environment that each teacher creates in their classes. They keep them all under control. They all know every safety procedure to keep their students safe during different emergency situations. Proper drills for different emergencies are run. Last year, the school district installed a system for lockdowns that lets administrators to communicate between eachother in case of an emergency.
