I enjoy going to school each and everyday because of all of the welcoming teachers. Luckily enough, each of my teachers are so caring and teach me until I actually learn material, not just hear it and forget. I also love HSE's school spirit. Our spirit weeks are so fun. The majority of the school dresses up and at sports events, everyone is hyped up and ready to support. I also enjoy the cafe, a new addition to HSEHS. Coffee is great, cafeteria staff is bomb, and the food in the cafe is delightful! My friends are all good, whole hearted individuals as well. HSE school district is the place to be!
Review Hamilton Southeastern School District
Hamilton Southeastern Schools excel in their acedemics. They also have exceptional performing arts and sports. I enjoy being in their choir program. They give high school students a chance to be in college level courses and prepares students for the next step in their education. I personally would like to see some changes though. I believe that students should have more opportunities to participate in classes that they are interested in. I would also like to see a change in some of the teachers, some of whom are very nice people but don't always fulfil the full description of their job. I would enjoy if there was more student lead activities and classes and if students had more of a voice in their academics. I feel as though sometimes, students are afraid to speak up or ask questions when that can contribute that much more to a class.
The Hamilton Southeastern School District, while incredibly wonderful and I am very lucky to have gone here, it is very large and at times overwhelming. I have almost 800 people just in my graduating class so occasionally you lose connections with your classmates and your teachers. However, the opportunities that have been presented to me at my school are so amazing. For example, in March of 2017, I am going to France as an exchange student through my school and have had the chance to even start my own composting system at my school to help promote conservation and make other students aware of all the food that can go to waste.
