Hallsville R-IV School District Reviews
It’s great, bullying is kind of crazy, and sports are a priority always. The teachers are great, and are ready for you to get into college and it’s a great school overall though.
I like that the school is in the middle of a small community. The people in the surrounding environment are caring and always willing to help. The only down side to Hallsville High School would be the lack of financial support. Hallsville High School is a good school, but has a tight budget.
At Hallsville I have learned so much. Every day it was a new experience with the same kids that I had gone to second grade with. Its so wonderful to know that you get to grow up with the same kids that you graduate with, getting to know each one of them throughout your schooling. Improvements of the school would solely be for more diversity. I often found myself the most diverse in groups in school. There are few races besides white which tends to minimize the amount of open minded people at the school.
Some of the teachers really care about your education, but the building itself is falling apart. Budget cuts have hit the district hard: some sports teams and clubs have been cut to help the school improve financially.
It was nice being in a small town so that you know everyone. Towards the end the school was having problems with their money. And some of the sports were the coaches son played alot. But the teachers really cared. And they were really good at making sure that the students understand what was being taught.
Great school. I had a lot of fun in high school at Hallsville high school. They offer many extracurricular activities from quiz bowl to high school football. During high school I played football and ran track. I was also a member of National Honor Society. Hallsville's teachers and staff are well equipped to perform their job, and do a great job of teaching their students.
