Gulf County Schools Reviews
I love the people and the atmosphere of gulf county schools. Everyone is very people friendly and honest with one another.
Run! Superintendent and administrators (and most coaches) are all part of the good ol' boy network. Rampant drug use by students and in-house sales are ignored (so as not to damage the reputations of certain parents). It makes a difference who you are (when it comes to how you are treated - student / parent), as mentioned by the prior poster. Biased teachers. Teachers and some coaches actually recruit students for their churches (this is a public school) during school time. ZERO support (but lots of lies) lent to sports programs, except for football. School has a mold issue that has gone unresolved. Cause a wave? I would fully expect to get blackballed. Stay away.
The school are great. The teachers really care and are willing to do anything to help. There are great activities and organizations to join, its just a all around great school.
These schools provide many teachers and faculty who closely interact within the school. However, there are teachers who are very biased and around her it basically all about who you are. Many teachers try to give grades based on someones attitude rather than their work. For example, a teacher decreased a students grade based on the person she was dating. That is unfair teaching habits. For the most part, the schools appear to be quite clean. The technology could be more up to date.
