Groton School District has a lot of diversity in students, teachers, sports, and classes. There are many options when it comes to sports, and students are informed of different types of classes to take. Although informing and helping students go onto to the next step in their lives could be better, the district works well together with students and parents. The district could do better on enforcing rules that would help students appear presentable and act in a way like they've learned self-respect and respect for others.

I like the environment, the only thing I wish that would change is the involvement of staff and faculty to support the student body. Otherwise an overall good experience in Groton. Amazing music program and even better teachers in general. Again just more action with the staff would be greatly appreciated.
I liked how the teachers are eager to prepare you for college and most want to help students anyway they can. Groton is a very diverse area which prepares students better for interactions in the real world. The facilities are average as the district doesn't have the funding for proper up keep and updating. My only major compliant is the guidance office not helping high school students more with college. I asked them to send my transcript out in September. I get an email from a coach recruiting me that the school didn't have my transcript. I went back and asked them to send it and they put it in the mail, and sent it to the wrong school. Other than that recent incident my overall experience was good.
