I like the Gresham-Barlow school district. I attended Gresham High school in the early 2000's and my son is currently a student at Hogan Cedars. The teachers at his school have been very helpful and understanding. My son has ADHD and needs a little more one on one time and the teachers seem more than happy to help him succeed. The school offers a before and after school program called Champions that my son also attends, the teachers are very nice and help with homework. It is slightly expensive for what they offer though. The school breakfast and lunch is free and that is great, but it is not always very healthy, but they do give the kids a couple options to choose from. My daughter will be starting school in fall 2020 and she will be in the Gresham-Barlow school as well. The school is very good at alerting you of changes in schedules and in-climate weather. I feel like my kids are safe and taken care of while at school in the Gresham-Barlow schools.

Through out the school district, most schools are under construction which has been needed for a long time. But as a student I can see more clearly than ever how hard all staff across our school district is working with the complications of construction in our schools. Now more than ever I have noticed how hard our teachers and other staff is working to help us grow as students and as individuals.
Throughout my years in the school district, all of my teachers have been so devoted to their students and their success, which I have seeing more clearly as I get closer to graduating. From 1st grade to 12th grade all of our teachers have just wanted us to succeed. Now as I reflect on my time in the Gresham-Barlow School District, I can see how all of my teachers work has payed off in creating me into the strong and motivated student I have become. I could not be the person I am today without all the amazing work of the Gresham-Barlow staff.
I really like enjoy the academics, club/activities and the opportunities these schools offer for students. The district, the school board itself are wonderful people that support their school extremely well. I have had a pretty successful time in this school district. I would like to see more of our school board involvement
