Greenville High School overall is a good high school in which offers classes beyond what you would expect. From floral design to culinary the options truly are endless. However, the one thing Greenville lacks is teachers who whole heartedly want to teach their students. Whether it is just the lack of actual teaching and explaining or lack of motivation. Greenville ISD as a whole could seek major improvement in this department.
It’s pretty cool here! Unfortunately the school doesn’t have the best pep when it comes to anything. The band isn’t too bad about pep. Everyone is really supportive though. They made sure everyone knew about suicide awareness and the teacher really do try to cheer most everyone up. The teacher almost always have favorites though but it’s ok. As long as you follow the rules they end up liking you and you make friends REALLY fast.
This school district is an overall pretty good place to be. Very good environment and always tries to bring people together whether by community service or fun events for students like me. The school district has investment millions to get the students into STEM and have so many electives to join such as the program to register and gain the knowledge to become nurses or to know how a car runs and know all about it. I take part in the robotics program we we have won state championships my first year there and everyone is amazing. The school have some faults with some classes not being what it’s meant for but it’s overall the school provides students classes that will indefinitely help in after high school and in the workforce.
